Extension for Mozilla Firefox: NYTimes.com Single-Page Format

An extension for Mozilla Firefox which will force stories you click on the New York Times website (NYTimes.com) to display in “Single-Page Format” by default.

Please report bugs or problems to hello@slower.net.

Current version: 0.1.20050307 (Compatible with Firefox 1.0) Install
(Best to uninstall old version first.)

Changelog:
20050307: Fixed bug where “JavaScript” links were sometimes not ignored, depending on capitalization.

Okay, this is great. A couple of comments:

It would be lovely if it worked for external links to Times stories.

It would be super-lovely if users could add their own URL modification schemes to the extension, to do the same for other publications.

Fixed - now ok with 1.0. Glad you find it useful.

I’m waiting to add to the official extensions list until it’s a bit more useful. It’s relatively easy to find with Google for now.

Maybe it only works with the mac? I downloaded it and tried to install it on my pc version of firefox (1.0) and it’s not recognizing it as an extension, it just tries to open it like a page rather than install it.

Fantastic extension, Eliot. One thing: if I click a link and drag and drop it on the tab bar to open a new tab it doesn’t work (on PC at least). Fixable?
