If Opinions are Like Assholes, I Have Something For You

Recently a couple people have asked me to comment on a some of their photos, and I’ve kind of enjoyed the experience. I’m trying to get better at saying things about photography.

If you’re interested in having me look at some stuff, here’s what to do:

• Put together a coherent set of 6-12 photos.
• Coherent meaning that they fit into an idea that you could state.
• It’s up to you whether you state it to me.
• Post them in a set somewhere.
• Flickr would be good.
• Email me the set link.
• Optionally, send specific questions or ideas you’d like me to think about.
• Expect nothing, except for my subjective opinion, possibly quite a while later.
• I might not be able to come up with anything to say at all.
• Understand that I might put the comments here if I thought they were interesting to write.
• PayPal me an iPod and some panties.
• Not really.

The subjective opinion part is serious. I don’t pretend to be anything other than someone trying to develop the means to say what they think. Please be ready to take it that way.
